Christmas for the Needy
Christ lives in us when we share Christmas with the needy. Here is what we can do:
 
*Donate $ to cover food for needy families. Make checks to “Holy Family Outreach,” and mark them “for Christmas Project.”
 
*Place a gift of your choice in the church under the Jesse Tree before or after weekend Masses during the four Sundays in Advent.
      **Gift tags are available near the organ, in a basket.
      **They need to be securely attached to the package
      **All gifts are appreciated but large gifts such as bicycles are difficult to handle.
      **Gifts will be donated to Love Inc., Salvation Army and the North End Soup Kitchen.
 
*Deliver food to area needy families and/or to Freeman School on December 19, 2009. 
      **Arrive early, We start at 9 a.m. 
      **Many hands make light work.
      **Thanksgiving day Mass will fund this project.

Any financial gift given at the Thanksgiving Day Mass will help to fund the food basket project and other St. Vincent De Paul projects.
