A Piano Recital of Thanksgiving
Friday, May 31st, 7 p.m. in church
For the last seven years, Holy Family has given me a wonderful opportunity to serve as a musician during Mass. In appreciation for the wonderful support I have encountered, I would like to share a piano recital Friday, May 31st, at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The program includes works by Beethoven, Chopin, Ginastera, and Debussy. There will be a small reception to follow in the school lobby.
This recital is sponsored by the Church of the Holy Family. There is no admission. Sarah has been playing at our liturgy since she was an 8th grader at Holy Family School. Now she has been studying piano performance at Western Michigan University and still plays for our parish whenever she has an opportunity. Please come enjoy this delightful piano performance!

Mission Makeover 2013 Edition
July 8 - 12, 2013
A Service Week for Middle School Teens (for students finishing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade). What is Mission Makeover? A week for all those completing 6th, 7th, or 8th grade who would like to be involved in a mini-mission experience where we will provide service to those in our parish community and surrounding areas. The week will provide students with the opportunity to serve those in need, to work as a team, and to participate in prayer and liturgy. They will also have a great time with evening activities and a fun day at the end of the week. Here is what some of last year's participants had to say:
"The experience of the first two days of this program have been the two most productive, helpful things I have done this summer."
"I didn't think I would know anybody - but I did and I also made some new friends"
If you are interested in this program or would like more information, please contact the Religious Education office at 694-9072, ext.101

Prayer for Our Country
Every Friday at 3 p.m. in Church
Help put God back in America! If you are concerned about the direction our country is taking, please join us in church every Friday at 3 p.m. We will pray for help to reverse the drift away from God and freedom, to give us the courage to reject the culture of death, and the strength to build a new culture of life and to stir the hearts of our leaders so we remain one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all. The more voices, the stronger our prayer.
